Josh's idea would suggest making it a language file variable that we can change like most we can now. That's perfect if easily doable.
For a default word how about "available"?

"What do you want the user to see regarding the number of units available? (eg: "Tickets remaining", "t-shirts of this size left") Leave empty to disable."
You can then use a simple php if($quantityUnit) {} to activate it.
How about also giving the option to display the quantity left only when below a certain threshold amount?
"What do you call each unit, and what other words do you want to use (remaining, left, etc) to describe how many units are remaining? (eg: "Tickets remaining", "t-shirts of this size left") To display quantity remaining only when the number available falls before a certain threshold, enter the threshold using the following syntax: "UnitName<Threshold" (eg. "Tickets left<10" would display "10 Tickets left" only when there are 10 or less tickets remaining. Leave field empty to disable."

I think @jkosick is right -- probably needs to be user-customizable. This could be used as the toggle for the feature too:jkosick wrote: How about a field to set term like the.qty. that way you can call it what ever you want. A Ticket, seat, or whatever.

Would it be easy enough to also have a tag <availability> to place the available seats or item in the description areas. That way people can see at a glance that their section is already full or sold out with something like (Sold Out ). Picture attached. By using the tag people can place text around it so that it can be extremely flexible.

I agree with jkosick, that would be great if not getting too complicated. Actually, would be great if we could insert [field_tag_name] for any field used anywhere we want in the body/description. Not sure if that is easy or involved. Just a thought.

One more question I have is if they register for the beginner section and then we find out they can attended the other section is there a way to assign them to the other section? I assume we just go into the profile and update the selection? Can we also make it where they cannot change it after they register?

OK. I am going to add support for this in version 2.5.0 of Events Booking (just released 2.4.3 yesterday, the development for 2.5.0 will be started soon)
Give me 4 to 6 weeks to work on this new version (have to work on other things, too)
Regards,
Tuan
