Is my site going to break?

I have an old client that has EB 1.4.4 on his Joomla 1.5.26 site. I will be developing his new site over the next few months, but I just found out today that my web host will be upgrading to PHP 5.5 next week. :dry:

My question will the old EB v1.4.4 run on PHP 5.5?

I must be honest that we haven't tested EB v1.4.4 with PHP 5.5 yet, so I could not be sure that it will work. I even don't know whether Joomla 1.5 can work with PHP 5.5, too

So in this case, when your host upgrade, you will need to test your whole site to make sure it works. Joomla 1.5 (and even Joomla 2.5) has reached it's end of life from long time ago, so you should consider upgrading your site to Joomla 3 ASAP

I copied the site to a server running PHP 5.6 and other than having to hide errors, the site and EB 1.4.4 runs just fine :woohoo:
