Fixed group Pricing being Ignored ? was created by Steve Barratt
Whilst I enjoy the program, I run a number of different events which have differing prices dependent on your age group and we have a fixed group (family) price. However I am finding that on all our events that the fixed group price is being ignored. As an example I have a Cub (under 13) and a junior (13 to 17) that I will take a dollar value off the event pricing in the individual it does great. When a group (family) enter then it might be 2 adult, 1 junior and 1 cub, I have a fixed price for the group (family) but the dollar value is still being taken off the fixed group price for the reduction of the cub and junior.
Is this normal and I need to make a separate event for individual and Group (family) bookings ? my understanding was with fixed group pricing that it ignored the other pricings used for individual bookings.

Hi Steve
The fixed group price will only be used to calculate the base pricing for the registration. So if you register for 2 or 3 members, the based price will be the same (for normal events, the base price will be calculated by $rate multilpled with number registrants)
However, if you have custom fee fields on registration form, that custom fee options will still be added to the total registration fee
Hope it is clear to you now and you can setup the fee to meet your need

Thanks for the answer Tuan, I do admit our event registration is a little complex, so I am going to make up individual entry and a seperate one for group bookings which will mean that the custom fee field will not be used for the varying age groups we have and the fixed group price will be good then.
