Events Booking is useless

I bought this extension a few months ago. It is virtually useless unless you are running the most simple of scenarios.

The support is pretty bad too. I opened a ticket on the 6th of January and it's still not resolved. The owner promised to sort it within 48 hours on the 3rd of February. Nothing has happened since - 19 days ago!

What's the issue you might ask - it's pretty simple. We have events for children and we want to allocate places to boys in girls. In theory the system can do this but it doesn't and just allows people to register despite no places being left.

So if you want to avoid yourself additional work and costs, don't buy this extension.

And the issue is not simple like you said. It is difficult because you are running a multilingual website and currently, the quantity field feature (which is used to prevent over-capacity) could not handle it

That quantity field feature works well for a single language website, but for multilingual, it doesn't work properly yet. I have tried to solve it without success

Could you please give me 2 more days to work on the issue? After coming back from new year holiday, I have been so busy and could not get back to that one yet (that one needs much time, not simple like you said - causes by multilingual website use-case)

If you could not wait for me and don't want to use the extension anymore, I will refund your money

I am not a lazy developer, the quantity field feature for multilingual website is quite complicated, and I will have to spend much time to solve it

Please let me know your decision so that I can arrange my time to work on it ASAP.

Apologize again for the issue. Let's please give me a chance to work on it to get it sorted

Unbelievable!!!!!!!!
The support from Tuan and all the folks here is nothing short of superb....
I have been using their extensions for a few years now, for TWO reasons....
1. the support is simply excellent.... I haven't found better
2. the quality of the work is just the same... absolutely excellent.....

Of course, there will be times when the extension does not fit each and every single circumstance..... but in this world, what does????

If you can find better support and quality extensions, maybe you should tell all of us about it, rather than just complaining "... don't buy this extension".....

But I think you will be hard-pressed to find better in terms of support and quality.

Thanks Mike for your nice words. Actually, CnaG is correct. It was our new year holiday (it come late than new year holiday of most of countries in the world) and I could not work on the issue

The bug is valid, but it is quite complicated. It happens with custom fee field quantity feature (not many customers use it) on a multilingual website only (it works well on a mono-language website)

However, I also worked on it during the weekend and send it to CnaG va support ticket.

So don't worry about this one

I get that, but I thought that it was more than harsh, and unfair, for CnaG to say that the extension was useless, and that support was bad, when neither of these are true..... If he/she was just a bit more observant, he/she would have realised about the VN holiday, and also the workload you have (not to mention the reports praising your service here)

For CnaG's case, he is correct:

1. The extension has that bug

2. The support is slow (although it was our new year holiday)

For now, I think it is over, so please don't worry about this anymore
