Event times wrong in ICS and "Save to Calendar" was created by Zelena
Hi there
I've set the time of my event as 11am-5pm - but on the "Save to calendar" features (Goog,e Yahoo and iCal), and in the ICS file included in the confirmation email, the time is shown as 7am-1pm.
Is there a time zone or something that I need to configure to get this to work properly?
Thanks!

I posted my answer via support ticket. Here is it again, I think it will be useful for other customers if they have same issue
Hi Zelena
It looks correct to me.
1. On your site, you have timezone UCT. See drive.google.com/file/d/0B2RoJ_24efMQalZ...2c/view?usp=drivesdk
2. When I saved is to my google calendar (my timezone is GMT + 07), and the time is 24/9/2016 18:00 and 26/9/2016 00:00 (It is added 7 hours, since my timezone is GMT + 07) and it is correct
So I don't see anything wrong here. Maybe your timezone (on your google calendar) is not UCT timezone and that's the reason the time change. You can change your site timezone setting to correct timezone and it should solve the issue

Thanks Tuan - appreciate your help. I understand what you are saying.
However, I'm still uncertain about this because we hold events in different cities, where the time zones are different... so even if I adjust the server time, I don't think this will solve my problem?
The problem is that the time and date shown on the event details front end need to be in *local time *(I cannot ask users to convert the event time from GMT/UCT/anything else!) But there seems to be no way to match local event times from different time zones with the ICS calendar time and date that is sent?

Hi Zelena
You can change the timezone of your site to your local timezone and check it again (this change won't change time of events display on your site, it will just affect the time of the ics file).
It will give you a good result

Maybe an example will help. I have two events, one in Toronto (GMT+5h) and one in Vancouver (GMT+8h).
The time I list for both events is 12pm local time. So, the Toronto event starts at 17:00 GMT and the Vancouver event starts at 20:00 GMT. But both are listed as starting at noon.
It does not matter what my server time zone is set at - won't the ICS file will be wrong for at least one of these events?

No, it won't. Both the event time in the ics file (and google calendar) will be correct. Basically, when generating ics file, Events Booking will convert the time of your event from your local timezone (set in Configuration of your site) to GMT, so the time of both the events will be correct
Try to do what I said and you will see that it works well
