Manual Payment Invoice was created by waisir
Hi guys,
Just want to check with you all on this.
When an event registration comes in with manual offline payment, the invoice generated shows as pending (waiting for the user to pay).
When the admin manually change the status of a registrant from pending to confirmed, will the system trigger the invoice once again as PAID and this being sent to the user once again?
Dont dare to try this on a live website hence asking here
Thanks guys

Wasir
I think many of us test on live with a test event with visibility restricted to super-admin. We also tend to have a local WAMP/LAMP server for more serious testing.
However, I can confirm that for Offline payment they get an emal at registration that will include your instructions on where to send the $ to. Then then when payment is marked as received a further confirmation email...

Thanks for the input.
I think we can safely say once the administrator updates the payment status, the confirmation email gets sent to the user. But does the INVOICE gets attached together with this updated emaiil?

Seems you are using offline payment. If so, you might want to upgrade to version 2.3.2. In that version, I added a new config option called "Only send invoice on payment complete"
If you set it to Yes, when someone uses offline payment for registration, invoice won't be sent at the time they register. When admin approve the registration record from backend (change status to Paid) , the invoice will be sent. That should solve the issue you are having

All bugs fixes are included in download package, so it should be safe to upgrade.
However, to be safe, it is good to make a full back up of your site before running the upgrade so that in case something goes wrong, you can rollback to earlier status

awesome mate.
I just patched. Hopefully no hiccups haha. But i do have to goback to the edit registrant details view page to remove the SAVE button to prevent users from editting their registration details. That was a hack and it was reverted back to original haha.
Hope others are not affected though
