Bug in date field was created by Tim Stöhr
Hi Tuan,
I have a birthday field that the user needs to fill out. Problem: I have used a date field and set is as registered. A few users type in the date themselves instead of using the calendar, and then the date field does not save the corresponding thing that the user entered in the database (in explanation: no information is collected even though the user entered a date).
When they use the calendar, then the date gets saved.
How to solve this?

Hmm
What version of the extension you are using? In the latest version (infact, from version 2.0.x if I remember correctly), we allows you to choose the format for date field and users will be forced to enter data in that format. So they should not be allowed to submit the form if the data is wrong
Please give me more information so that I can check it further

Hey,
I am using 2.0x version. I now see what you mean with validation. I have to choose that validation myself especially in regard to the date field.
I would like to use not 2016-03-02 but rather DD.MM.YYYY. How do I change the validation for that?
