Moving an installation to a new server

Is it possible to move an Event Booking installation (along with the configuration and events created) to another Joomla Web ?

By copying or exporting/importing ?

Yes. You can:

1. Export all Events Booking related database table (tables with _eb_ prefix) from your old site, import it to your new site database (make sure the database table prefix is the same for both two sites)

2. Install latest version of Events Booking to your new site

After that, all the old data (configuration, categories, events, registrants..,) will be available on your new site

Will this work if the original site is on Joomla 2.5 and the new one on Joomla 3 ?

Yes. It even works if you migrate data from Joomla 1.5 to Joomla 3 . It works in the same way
