Event Details redirection problem was created by Fred Pouillot
Hello to the Event Booking Team,
Recently, I was in the process of setting landing pages with the event booking category timelines layout on it. I placed the landing page on a menu with a specific layout and a specific content so it could get a proper url. I was very happy with it.
On an other hands, the same category was present with a simpler layout (category table layout) on the main menu of my site, on a different url and accompagned with different type of content.
Problem is that when I want to check event details from the second (longer) url, it shows up with the first (shorter) url and layout. When I click on a subcategory on the second url, it also shows up with the first url and layout.
This is a huge problem to me because both url layout and content are very specific to my audiences. Is there anything I can do to correct this problem ?
Thank you very much.

Hi Fred
Unfortunately, there is some limitation with Joomla core router, so if I understand your issue correctly, seems we could not solve it (it is a problem with Joomla core router system as I said before)
However, before giving the final conclusion, please send me the links to the two pages you are talking about. I will look at it before giving you final answers
Regards,
Tuan

Hello Tuan,
For example, I put the class category "macaron" in two url/menus:
s433581506.onlinehome.fr/availabilities/...hedule/macaron-class
s433581506.onlinehome.fr/register-class
Then, when I'm in the first url subdirectory, I cannot click on the macaron class category without dropping into the second url:
s433581506.onlinehome.fr/availabilities/...asses-paris-schedule (click macaron class schedule on top)
And when I'm the first kind of url of the category, events details appears into the second kind of url:
s433581506.onlinehome.fr/availabilities/...hedule/macaron-class (click on any event)
This is especially boring when the two urls are very different purpose and layout, as in an SEO perspective.
Thank you for your attention,
Fred.
