Last_name and hiding email in registrant list was created by sydawn
Hello,
I wanted to know how I can increase the number of characters in the last name field - it is cutting off characters at the moment.
Also on the frontend registrant list when they press to see all the fields how can I hide the email field - it must not be visible.
Thank you so much in advance
Regards

Looking at the defaults in my installation's mySQL Database, it looks like _eb_registrants -> last_name is set to 50 characters long. If you need to increase that, I think you should be able to change the 50 to something else using a database editor (eg. phpMyAdmin via cPanel) or by issuing the proper database query/command.
*************** MY STANDARD WARNING WHENEVER I MENTION EDITING THE DATABASE ***************
You can REALLLLLLLLLY mess your site up if you do something wrong when editing the database! Unless you know what you're doing, proceed with extreme caution (and maybe make a backup first!) or find someone experienced who can assist you.

Hello there,
Thank you for replying - I am an established coder myself. I just wanted the quick answer to help me on my way since i have a killer deadline. I will log into my PHPMYADMIN now and change that. Thanks a million on that one, I already changed the css of x-large to accommodate the larger strings.
