Category Description in Table Layout

I set "Show category description in Table layout" to YES but in the front-end table view nothing changes , in the table this information is not present.

I expect to see a new column with this information , correct ?

You create a menu item to link to category table layout of Events Booking, correct ? If so, setting this config option to Yes will display description of the category above the table which display list of events if you select a category in menu parameter

If you don't select any category in menu parameter, no description will be displayed

Yes correct, I create a menu item to link to category table layout of Events Booking. I select no to: Show category description in Table layout but if I select a category in menu parameter the category description is displayed !!

However, there is a way to ad a column in table view to display CATEGORIES ?

I just checked the code from latest version and can confirm that if you set that config option to No, the category description won't be displayed. If you see the issue like that, you can submit a support ticket so that we can check it

And to your main question, no , we don't support displaying category description in table layout.
