Event Template - Placeholders

I apologize if this has been asked and answered before, but a search didn't yield results for me.

I was using a different Event Manager designed for WordPress. In that, I was able to basically use a default Event template, making use of placeholders to fill in event details so we didn't have to create every event from scratch and were able to maintain a consistent look and feel.

I could take an Event, copy it, and all I needed to do was retitle it and set the new date/times. The Event Description would use placeholders, like the Event date and time, the event location, a location description.

Is there any similar functionality in Events Booking?

I think it is "Save as Copy" feature in Joomla and Events Booking. Just go to Events Booking -> Events, click on the event you want to copy.

Then modify the data you want (title and date in this case) and press "Save as Copy" button in the toolbar

After that, a new event with the data you just adjusted will be created

Thanks, but that's not what I'm looking for. That will help save some time, for sure, but here's an example of what I was hoping your software would do:

Yes, you are correct. Unfortunately, at the moment, we don't have support for this feature. Will try to think more about it and try to add support for it in future releases of the extension
