Registered user didn't pay was created by gavin
Morning,
new EB user here, and new to Joomla too, so please forgive me if this is simple...
i have had a registered subscriber sign up for an event but something happened when he got to paypal and he didn't pay. i have contacted him and he does want to attend and wanted to know how he can now pay.
i would have expected when he logged back in to the site he would be able to see a list of events that he had registered for and the payment status for each of them. is this possible? i found a way to show event history but it only shows events that you have "paid" for but doesn't show any marked as "pending"
this really is a must have feature...

Hi Gavin
At the moment, we don't have a way to allow user to pay for the ignored payment registration records. So for now, the only option is :
1. Ask him to send payment to you manually via Paypal. Then you can change the status of the registration record from Pending to Active
2. Or ask him to re-register again. However, doing this will takes time for him
So I think you should go with option #1 for now
Regards,
Tuan

not a great solution but thanks for getting back to me.
the floor with this method is it requires the user to contact us asking if we received the payment or us to check all records to ensure every attendee has paid.
is there a way to show pending status under event history?

You can go to Events Booking -> Configuration, find the config option Show Pending Registration Records, set it to Yes
After that, these none paid registration records will be showed in administrator area. Hope it works for you

Thanks, i had that option already.
i have also added a user menu item with a "menu item type" as "registration history" so users can see what events they have registered for. i have found this only show events they have paid for. how can i add events they are in a pending status for as well?

HI Gavin
That will need some small modification to the code. Could you please submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site so that I can ask my developer to modify code for you?
