How to implement this type of events was created by Leboutte Didier
Hello
Here is my situation:
I have an event comprising two modules on two different dates:
Module 1 (1 day) 100 €
Module 2 (date 2) 25 €
both modules at 120 €
Also for some participants registration is free but registration must be recorded.
There must be maximum 16 participants per module.
Participants can register for one of the two day or two dates.
how to set this up?
Best regards

I can think of a few different ways that you could set this up... question first: do you want these to be separate events or the same event with the option of booking one-or-the-other-or-both modules?

the same event with the option of booking one-or-the-other-or-both modules
or if you have a solution that could meet this case, even to create two events. and how to set up for participants to "two" modules are properly registered
thank you

I think the solution is creating a checkbox List custom fee field. Please try to read the instructions at
documentation.joomdonation.com/2-events-...st-custom-field-type
and try to setup it, then get back to us with the result
Because you want to have "both modules" with price 120€, I could not think of any way to setup the limitation so that "There must be maximum 16 participants per module"
If you just have Module 1 and Module 2 option, we can use Quantity field feature to setup this limitation. However, with your special requirement, unfortunately, I don't see a way to setup it

Here's the way that I can think of for making this work based on the options that EB currently boasts. It's a little bit of a work-around and relies on the customer to only check off the discount option if they are truly registering for both modules...
Set your event to $0 registration fee, then:
If doing this as separate events, you'd have to include either a (-5 €) checkbox in the Module 2 event, or implement a coupon code good for 5€ off the price.
Set your event to $0 registration fee, then:
- setup a first custom field -> checkbox, configured as:
- Value:
--> Module 1 (1 day) 100 €
--> Module 2 (date 2) 25 € - turn on the Fee option, and set Fee to:
--> 100
--> 25 - Quantity:
--> 16
--> 16
- Value:
- setup a second custom field -> checkbox, configured as:
- Value:
--> I am registering for both Module 1 and 2 (subtract 5 €) - turn on the Fee option, and set Fee to a negative for the discount:
--> -5
- Value:
If doing this as separate events, you'd have to include either a (-5 €) checkbox in the Module 2 event, or implement a coupon code good for 5€ off the price.

In [Custom Fields -> any radio button / checkbox -> just over half way down the list of settings], you should see this:
[Quantity] was added as a setting about 6 months ago. Check the changelogs for info when. If you don't see it, then your version of EB is too old and you'll need to upgrade.

Just realizing one flaw in this setup... You'll have to keep an eye on the event registrations because once the "modules" quantities are all sold out, the event will continue to accept registrations for free
You could add a [Message] field next to the checkboxes instructing people that "if you are unable to select a module in the checkboxes below, the module is full".

Do you mean the "Capacity" for the event? Yes -- set that to 0.Leboutte Didier wrote: Do I also put to 0 the number of entry in the event form?

Thank you for the details,
The form seems to work fine.
However, in the table of events, it displays the number of unlimited space, why not show it?
In the event, how not to display the table of properties for this event?
Best regards
