j2.5.28 EB v2.0.5
I had thousands of past events so i cleared them out via phpmyadmin (truncate).
I then setup a new parent event with next years dates from March 17th 2016 - Oct 31st 2016 but i'm getting an error
THIS DATE HAS EXPIRED! Please check your Calendar dates again. when i try to book the event.
Is there some other table that possibly needs truncating?

I don't really know the reason of the issue without checking it directly on your site

You can try to login to backend of your site, then access to this url:

domain.com/administrator/index.php?optio...king&task=reset_urls

Then try again to see how it goes

I rolled back to version 1.6.6 and the dates worked again - some bug or date_time issue in eb205 with j2.5.28

I can say that version 2.0.5 works very well. So maybe there is something wrong with the settings of your event. You can submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site
