Name infix - visible in overviews was created by Vincent Schuurhuis
In the Netherlands and many other countries names frequently have an infix, such as for example: Edwin van der Sar, Jean Van de Velde In order to standardize on how these are entered in the application, it would be useful if there were a standard "Infix" field to store the "Van de" or "Van der". One use case for this is that when sorting a list of Leads or Contacts by the surname, the infix part is not usually considered.
I have added this field as a custom field, but in the overviews this infix is not displayed. therefor there could be a misunderstanding when the lastname of two persons is the same, but one of them had an infix.
Another solution would be adding this infix field to the component.
The disadvantage when I make these modifications on my own is that after each update I need to re-apply these modifications .
Is it possible to integrate this name infix field, if so would it help if I provide the lines of code which I think modifications must be made.

Hi Tuan,
Can you give some information about the infix possibilities included in the core.
If this is not possible I can apply my modifications to each new release but I will have to make an extended documentation of all the necessary modifications.

Hi Vincent
At the moment, I think I won't add this into a core feature. The reason is because so far, only you need it, so it is not a common requirement. I will leave this topic open and in case there are more customers need it , I will consider implementing it into the extension
For now, please maintain this modification yourself
I know this might be an unexpected answer, however, please understand

Hi Tuan,
Of course I understand, if only one customer has a specific request, you will always consider if developmenttime can be "claimed".
For me it is not a problem to maintain my own fixes, the only disadvantage is I will have to setup an extra site for testing new release after applying my modifications. This to be sure I have covered everything before installing it on live sites.
