Custom Field for file upload

Hello,
I was not able to find any help how to customize the custom field for file upload:

I'm looking to create a custom field for people they must upload a resume when they register for event.
I select field type: file
Data type validation: it says max file size.

I would like to have max 5 mb file size upload
also only the following file extension will be allowed: doc, docx, txt and pdf.

Please where I need to put the extensions?

Unfortunately, that validation is used for different purpose (checking the length of the input string on form field), not used for validate file size of a field upload

At the moment, we don't have validation rule for validating size of the file upload yet

Can I put the the file extension will be allowed: doc, docx, txt and pdf.

I believe it is Allowed File Types config option in Configuration of the extension

Sorry, I think the one you mean is the file attachment when creating events, right.

I'm looking to allow people to send off their resume when they register for event. so they can only send: doc, docx, pdf files

I'm not sure where to specify that.
