I have an event that runs September 25-27, and I want users to be able to register for the event while it is going on. If I set the cut-off date to September 27th, will users be allowed to register for the event while it is in-progress (i.e. September 26th)?

Unfortunately, it won't. However, I will spend time to work on it today (or tomorrow) to enable it. You can come back to me on Tuesday and we will have this option ready to use for sure
