The event you are trying to access is invalid was created by Corrie McGaughey
I have been using Event Booking for a year and things have been working fine. I created a copy of about 6 events. Some are showing up fine but 3 of them are showing a message with "The event you are trying to access is invalid" when I try to view the event. Not sure why some are working and others are not. I have unpublished 2 that are having the error but left one up so you can see the problem. Please go to the site and scroll down until you see the event "WG Thursdays Session 2" It's the event 2nd from the bottom.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Corrie

Something funny that I noticed: while the link to the specific event you mentioned is for
--> kindermusikwithcorrie.com/index.php/clas...-thursdays-session-2
when you click the link, you are taken to a non SEO-friendly
--> kindermusikwithcorrie.com/index.php?opti...ntbooking&Itemid=153

Your other events don't do this -- they maintain the SEO-friendly URL.

Maybe this will help @Tuan and his dev team diagnose the problem???

I seem to have discovered the problem. In the configuration settings I changed the Insert Event ID to yes and now the events are working. Thank you for your response

OK Corrie. That's the solution. This is usually happens when you have events with same alias (or you have an event in the pass which uses that same alias).

Use the solution you found will solve the issue

Try to login to administrator area of your site, then access to

yoursite.com/administrator/index.php?opt...king&task=reset_urls

Please note that you will have to change yoursite.com to the actual domain of your site

After that, it should solve the issue

It doesn't seem to have fixed it.

I've pasted that link (with my domain / ip) into my browser and I receive the "urls have been reset" message.

I can then browse to an event page using firefox without any problems.

When I paste the url of the event page into chrome, or browse to an event page, I receive the error "The event you are trying to access is invalid" and am redirected to /index.php
