Delete event in frontend by a user was created by Hedi Inauen
Good morning
Your extensions is really great, it took me some time to work myself into it, but now I'm very happy. There is one think which I was not able to figure it out yet.
I have a registered user that will have to edit, submit and delete events in the frontend. I set the permissions also to "allow to delete", but when I test it, I can edit, submit, etc but not delete.
Can you help me ?
Thank you
Hedi

Hi Hedi
Unfortunately, we don't allow deleting events from frontend at the moment. Deleting events is only possible from backend by administrator
We might consider adding support for this option in the future, but for now, it is not available yet
Regards,
Tuan

Hello Tuan
Thanks for your answer. That would be great, if such an option is possible.
But in the meantime.....I am testing the webpage now and log-in as an user. If I submit an event in the frontend, I dont see it in the backend ! So I am not able to delete it as well.
Regards,
Hedi

Hi, sorry to have to bring up an old thread but we have the same question.
Our Users or even Super Users are unable to delete the event from the frontend. Is it still a pending feature or are we missing an option?
According to the documentation it appears Users should be able to delete the event from My Submitted Events view on the frontend?
joomdonation.com/documentation/events-booking.html
Thanks in advance!

Finally, you need to create a menu item to allows users manage all their submitted events. To do that, please create a menu tem to link to to My Submitted Events view of Events Booking. When users logged in, they can access to this menu item to see their submitted events, edit, delete.... these events...
Thanks in advance!

Hi
Sorry, it is still a pending feature. I will try to add support for it in the next release of Events Booking. Give me 4 more weeks from today and we will have this feature ready to use
