Are there any instructions for using module "Events Booking View" other than what you have here?

Hi

Sorry, we don't have further instructions. Basically, with this Events Booking View, you can easily display any views/pages in Events Booking in a module position.

For example, you can use this module to display events booking timeline layout in a module position (this one has different layout than the upcoming events module), you can also display calendar , categories.....using that module.

So as I said, this module can be used to display almost any pages / views in Events Booking in a module position. If you want to display any page in Events Booking in a module position, think about using this module

I don't think it is "easy" to use! I tried to use this to display an event and I just get an error message on my web page about the event being invalid (The event you are trying to access is invalid). I have no idea what to put in to the "Query string" I guessed at if I set View as Event detail then Query string might be Itemid=2 based on the little info I found on the forums but that doesn't work.

Yes. I agree. This module is quite powerful, but it is not easy for end users to use it. Mostly, it should be used by developer who understand what's query string and what's the variable needed for each view. I will try to document it later (with sample query string for each view) after I release this new version 2.0.5

For the event view, the query string needs to be id=ID_OF_THE_EVENT&Itemid=ID_OF_THE_MENU_ITEM, for example, id=1&Itemid=2

Hi Melissa

1. In the View parameter of the module, select "Registration Form"

2. In the Query String, please use

event_id=ID_OF_THE_EVENT&Itemid=ID_OF_THE_MENU_ITEM, for example, event_idid=1&Itemid=2

Regards,

Tuan
