Giving Users Access To Content Once Subscribed

Hi guys

OS Membership currently assigns users to a new group "Patrons" once they subscribe and it successfully adds them to the group "Patrons" in addition to "Registered".

Herein lies the problem though:

Once a user subscribes and is assigned to the group "Patrons" they have to logout and then back in to gain access to that content.

I created a group called "Patrons" under "Registered" and that all works fine once they log back in but I need to find a way of adjusting the session variable that controls this.

Incidentally the plugin I was provided with adds the users to the group "Patrons" instead of removing them from "Registered" and placing in Patrons so it's actually assigning the users to 2 groups. Perhaps this is the root cause of the problem...?

In Configuration of Membership Pro, there are two config options :

1. Auto Login

2. Auto reload user groups

Please set these two config options to Yes and it will solve the issue you are having !
