Additional fields for events was created by ewa
Hi Tuan,
I would like to add an additional field to an event detail : age group of participants (eg: children and adults). I would like the front end users creating events to be able to select it. I would also like the front-end users to be able to search and filter the results on that field. What would be the best way to achieve that? Thank you.

Hi Tuan, Thank you for your quick reply.
The custom fields appear correctly in the extra information tab, which is fine.
But I would like to use the custom field in the search module, so that users can select events for children or adults.
How can this be done?

Hi

Unfortunately, it could not be done. The extra information can only be used to show more information about the events. It could not be used for searching data. If you want to search data based on the value of the custom fields, you will need to hire a developer to customize the code for you. I am afraid of it will cost you about 150$ or so for this customization

Hi! I would like to put an additional Field for the "Course Number" right above the Event-Title. How can resolve this?

And i need this Number also in the Email...

Unfortunately, it is not possible to do that in Events Booking by default. You will need to find someone to customize the code to have this feature for you

Please don't say that it is half-finished App. The custom field will be displayed, but on a different position than you want, so if you have a dev available, he can customize it to move it to the position you want.

If you don't have a dev, you can send me the link to the page and explain exactly where you want it to be displayed so that I can ask a dev to show it for you. I need you to point me exactly where you want to display it

If you don't want to use the product, I will refund the money of your purchase. I have no problem with refund the money, but I can tell you that there is no extension allows you to do that by default, and right now, Events Booking is one of the best (if not saying the best) event registration extension for Joomla. So please think about it before making decision. Again, money is not important to me, just want you to choose the right product

Dear Tuan,

thank you for your fast and detailed answer. We appreciate your offer a lot.

What we want is to help to improve your App, which is definitly on the way to be the best.

What we miss:

a. We need to insert an Event-Number which is also displayed in the Confirmation Emails. We need this for our accounting. And with "Extrafields" its not possible to display them in the confirmation-Emails.

b. The Eventdetails are not displaying the whole information about the event. Exact date is missing.

We couldn´t see this ponts missing when we decide to use EB and we hope it will be a note to improve, because we know from our work for many event-marketer, that they need an accounting-help...

Sorry, i was wrong in describing the issue in b.! Better: The confirmation Emails do not show the Date of the event.
