First I really like your extension but I miss more flexibility using custom field in administration views. E.g. the registrants list ignores the ordering completely; registrants management view allows core fields only.
I wish that I can integrate custom (own) fields in each view in the order which I need. Does this is possible without hacking your extension?
Unfortunately, it is not possible. The extension is still not yet flexible like that. So in this case, yes, you will have to customize the extension to have the fields on the views display in the order you want
