Required custom field in FE ?

Hello Tuan,

i have two customfields.

CF1 - is required

CF2 - isn't required

CF2 is conditional custom field. Yes / No let you insert a number into this field.

Now the problem. When someone register for an event all is good. But when i edit some registrant fom FE that CF2 will marked with

*This field is required
* Minimum 7 charakters ....
* Not a valid integer

This field CF2 isn't required, it's an conditional field and so no number is entered.

I think it's an bug. Can you please check and fix this little problem?

Infact, we haven't integrated conditional custom fields implementation to frontend edit registrant form, so that might be the reason causing the issue

We will try to address it in version 2.0.0 which we are working right now. We should have the new version within 4 weeks!

Hi Tuan, was conditional custom fields on frontend edit registrant form ever implemented? We're currently using version 2.0.3 and we have the same issue. On the registrant form we have a "Yes/No" custom dropdown field and a second custom text field; the text field depends on the dropdown, and the text field is required if shown. When editing the form if the dropdown is set to "No" the text field still shows and we are getting a "this field is required" message.

Sorry, it has not been implemented yet. I will implement it in version 2.2.1 (just released version 2.2.0 yesterday - only available for Joomla 3.x)

Please give me about two weeks to add this feature into the extension
