EB_reminder pluggin

Hi there,

Just reading the documentation to set the auto reminder feature up. It says install the pluggin eb_reminder.zip from the package. I don't see this file in the Joomla 2.5/3 folder. Where can I get this from or is it automatically installed as part of the standard installation for 2.5/3 sites?

You don't need to install it separately. It will be installed automatically when you install the file com_eventbooking.zip in the package you received.

So just need to find and publish the plugin and it should be OK

Thanks for the information. I can't find the plug-in to enable. I've attached a list of available ones for this module below.

Can you tell me if it's possible to have a different reminder email based on the event or category? Also how do you add attachments to the email?

Hi make a search in your plugin list for "ebreminder"

You are choosing plugin type as "Event Booking", It is not correct. The reminder plugin is a system plugin, that's the reason you didn't see the plugin on the list

So don't select the plugin type filter, then search for ebreminder and you will see it

Is it possible to add attachments to the email? Also is it possible to add multiple reminder messages based on event or category so that specific information about that event can be sent?

Unfortunately, it is not possible at the moment.

1=> It is not possible to send attachments in the reminder email

2=> You can only use [EVENT_DATE], [EVENT_TITLE] to send specific information of the event. We don't want to add support for more tags because it might cause timeout issue while sending reminder emails
