Recurring Events Error on event creation was created by Ed Henderson
I've just installed the latest version of EB on my 2.5.8 version of Joomla. After installing, I now have the option Recurring Events when i create a new event. When i save, i get the following error:
DateTime::__construct(): Failed to parse time string (0000-00-00 00:00:00 23:59:59) at position 20 (2): Double time specification
When i turn off Recurring Events, the Event saves.
HELP PLEASE!!!!

Hi
That mean you entered some wrong settings when create a recurring event. Could you please make a screenshot of what you entered in recurring settings section when creating the event so that I can look at it and guide you to correct it?

Hi
You forgot to enter data for Recurring Ending settings. In that settings:
1. You can select so that the recurring will be stopped after 5 occurencies and the system will just create 5 children events .
2. Or you can select "After Date" option and select a date. Then the system will continue create recurring events until the date of that event reached that date
4. Also, please make sure you enter event start date.
For more information, please read the documentation at documentation.joomdonation.com/2-events-...ing-recurring-events to understand how to create recurring events

Hi, I tried to make a recurring event: every week, Monday-Friday, through a date in 2016. I think I got it mostly right!
Two problems I have (seen in the attached files) are:
1) The event is now showing up every day through the rest of the current month (including Saturdays and Sundays)
2) It doesn't show up after the end of the current month, while I had set it to show up throughout most of 2016
A third question I have is, why can't I see the child events in Event Management now that the recurring event is created?
Thanks for your help--great extension, and I am excited to use it!
best,
Eliot
