Wait list Notification was created by jkosick
When changing a registrant from "wait list" to pending no email confirmation is sent to the user. Can this be added? Can there also be an email confirmation for the waitlist? Perhaps a function where you can click a button to "avtivate" a person? It would move them from wait list status to pending or other status. ANd the ability to put them back on the wait list. That way the user will get confirmation that they are part of the event.

Hi
Right now, It is not possible. I will consider adding support for it in the future. When changing status from Waiting List to "Pending" or "Paid", there should be notification email send to registrant to inform them about it.

EMail is an good idea, my short test don't send an email when i switch from "waiting" to "pending".
Another problem i have with waitinglist.
I think it's an bad idea to open registration for an event when we have user on the waitinglist.
Will it be possible to close registration for that event when some user is on the waitinglist?
Example:
Capacity: 100
Registered: 100
Now User can join the waitinglist.
When someone who is registered cancel his registration:
Capacity: 100
Registered: 99
Now no user can register for this event, before waitinglist is empty!
When waitinglist is empty user can again register for this event.
I hope it's an nice idea to improve the waitinglist.

It only seems to send notification on changing to "paid" status it however does not send notification on changing from wait list to "pending". If it would send the normal registration info upon moving from "wait list" to "pending" it would be much easier for them to complete the registration process.
