Frontend locations still by user

Hi Tuan

Installed version 1.7.3. with the new feature that anybody can see all locations. Switched this on in configuration (to yes) but I can still see just a few locations. Could the problem be that most of the locations are not assigned to a user at all?
We used to have a user that a lot of people could use, to overcome problems like this. The new feature would be great, but I must be missing something.

Hi Roger

When you switch that config option to Yes, all published locations on your system should be showed. Could you please submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site and the link to the event submission page so that I can check to see what's wrong and get it sorted for you.

It was probably a mistake on my part. I thought, that in the screen of the front end location submissions, all the permitted users could see all locations and also make changes to all locations. This isn't the case. But if I want to make changes to one specific event, I can select all locations.
This, I guess, was your intention, correct?

Yes. that's correct. Users can choose locations submitted by other users for their events. And Yes, they cannot modify the locations submitted by other users.
