SEF Url's

Hello - The JED listing for Event Booking says that it features Search Engine Friendly URL's, however this is how my url's look for a single event:

mysite.com/courses?task=view_event&event_id=7

Clearly these are't SEF Url's - is there a way I can turn them on? I have gone through the settings and can't find anything.

That URL looks strange to me. What version of the extension you are using?

That must be from a very old version of the extension (or maybe you are using it in Joomla 1.5) ?

Hello - I have just realised the extension is not supporting update notifications, and it's version 1.5.3 - i had assumed it was up to date because of this. Am i entitled to an update or do i need to repurchase?

We provide free upgrade for one year for each purchase. So if you purchase it in less than one year, you will get free upgrade.

When did you purchase the extension ? We didn't have update notification in old version, I don't remember what time it was integrated, maybe from version 1.6.x

Sorry, it seems you purchased it from June 2013, so your subscription was expired about one year ago and you could not download latest version anymore

So please purchase a new license of the extension if you want to download latest version (and support our development)

Okay thanks - can data be migrated from the old version to the new?

You just need to install new version over the old version and all data will be available. All the data you are having in the system at the moment will be kept
