It would be really nice to have the ability to fill in the names in the group registration form from the user list in Community Builder and pulling all the profile information from their profiles.

Hi Mike

You mean filling data for group members using the data in their profiles ? If so, how we know the usernames of these members to get the profile data ?

If we allow selecting data from any of your site members, we might have problem with privacy rule as people don't want users to see their information

Hi Tuan,
You currently have a pick list in the back end to add users to an event. The same thing could be used on the front end. In our case we have members who are registering for events and use an abbreviated registration consisting of first name, last name and a custom field dietary restrictions. I would like to fill the dietary restrictions field from the user profile. (if it exists), The only thing the user would have to see is first and last name in the pick list. The rest of the information could be added invisibly to the database when a name is picked from this list. Only logged in users would have access to this function and on our site all their data is visible to other members (except email)..
