Event registration form from menu item was created by Michal
Hello,
Can you please give some ideas on how to display a given event registration form from menu item.
For example: I have a menu item "Register for the cours", and when user clicks on it it display the registration form (with fields nam, lastname, email, telephon, other custom fields).
or at least point me to to the place in the documentation where I can find this information.
Regards
Michal

Hello
At the moment, we don't have a way to create menu item to link to registration Form. However, you can try this solution:
1. Using EB Register plugin to embed registration form of an event into an article. See documentation at documentation.joomdonation.com/2-events-...e-eb-register-plugin
2. Then create a menu item to link to that article
It should solve the issue you are having

If for some reason Tuan's suggested way doesn't work (which it should just fine), another way to do it would be to view your event on your website, and copy the url. Then create a new System Links -> External Url menu item, and paste the url into the appropriate box.

@Tuan Pham Ngoc, Your solution kind of works, but it doesn't display captcha even though it is enable and captcha is showing properly in other forms. Additionally and able to do individual registrations only.
How can I overcome these limitations ?
Thank you and Regards

Hi Michal,
I've noticed on my site that plugins / loadpositions / etc. often have active content stripped when embedded in articles.
Try the External Url idea I posted earlier and see if that works for you.

Yes. Try the external menu item solution which James suggested. It should work well! I will try to make it possible to create menu item to link to registration form directly on the next released.

Hi
Thank you for your quick reply. This is how I imagined getting link for a registration form.
a) Display upcoming events
b) click on the event I am interested in
c) click on the button Register for an Event (if such exists)
d) copy URL I need to link with External Link
The problem is that c) can't be accomplished because there is no such button like Register for an event (or sign up for an event). I have "Invite Friends" only and starndard Joomla buttons "Edit" and "Unpublish" (I am working in offline website mode)
Any suggestions ?

Maybe the reason is because you registered for that event already and the system doesn't allow you to register again? Please delete the registration record associated to your account and you should see the button

That's strange. Please check and make sure :
1. The Event Date is greater than the current date
2. The Cut of date is empty or greater than the current date
3. The registration start date is empty or smaller than current date
4. Registration type not set to "Disable Registration"
Then the register button should appear
