Translation of custom fields in fields.xml

Hello

I want to add some extra fields as described here:
documentation.joomdonation.com/2-events-...ow-custom-field.html

But how can I make them multi language? I have not found a way to translate the fields.

I think the solution would be:

1. Edit the custom fields in the file fields.xml, change label to language items such as EB_NAME_OF_CUSTOM_FIELD

2. Then go to Events Booking -> Translation, press new button in the toolbar to add that language item and make the translation

After that, it should work as expected

I figured out that core language override from Joomla is working as well. I can add the language strings there, too

I've got a related question. I have this working, and the field *labels* translate fine - but how would I translate the field *contents*?

Unfortunately, at the moment, we don't have a way to translate the file content. What content you tried to enter? Is it simple string ? If so, I can try to edit code to make it translatable for you

Thanks Tuan. Never mind - I just figured out it is easier to create double the number of fields, and show each set where relevant. Avoids editing the language files too.
