Multiple Group Registration Types

I have to create an event that has 2 types of group registrations - one type is teams and the other family.

These two groups have different member information requirements so need to identify whether it is a family or team registration before registrant completes the member information fields of the group registration.

Is there a way to implement a field to ask for the type of registration before going through the member and then billing information process?

Sorry, we could not have this setup. In this case, I am afraid of you will have to setup two different events, one for team and one for family and create the necessary custom fields for each event

They could not be setup as one event
