No Go upgrading from 1.6.6 to 1.6.10 on Joomla 3.4 was created by Petter
Hi Tuan,
I just upgraded Joomla from 2.5.28 to 3.4
My Event Booking version is 1.6.6
I recently DL'd version 1.6.10 and according to instructions I should simply install new version of the extension over the old version. No need to uninstall old version. But that does not work and I get these errors:
Warning
Extension Install: Another package is already using the named directory: /home/MYSERVER/public_html/administrator/manifests/packages/eventbooking. Are you trying to install the same extension again?
Error
Error installing package
What could cause this?
Rgds,
Petter

If you could afford to upgrade, then it would be great. Otherwise, you can submit a support ticket so that we can upgrade to 1.6.10 for you

Tuan

That won't be necessary Tuan, it's a brilliant extension and it's worth every penny.

Just renewed and installed 1.7.0, but there was an error:
Warning
JInstaller: :Install: Can't find XML setup file.
Is this something to worry about?

Hi Petter
Nothing to worry about. Just check on Events Booking page from frontend of your site and make sure everything works as expected (just to be safe in case something is not working as expected)

Hi Tuan,
There are a few issues (read: everything does not work as expected), would you like me to make a new thread for these or should I post them here?
