Yes . However, if you have modifed the language file (via Translation function of the extension), you need to back-up the language file first (because it will be removed when you uninstall the extension). The language file is located as language/en-GB/en-GB.com_eventbooking.ini

After re-installing the component, you can upload the language file again to your site .

In case you haven't modified any language string, just uninstall the old version and install new version .

The file "language/en-GB/en-GB.com_eventbooking.ini" doesn't exist in my instalation. My joomla has 2 languages: es-ES & en-GB, but that file doesn't exist in any of both folders.

Fantastic release! Finally, I found 'show events' date' on registrants screen. To enable it:
configuration/themes - it's last option at the bottom.
