odd message after sign in was created by spitjack
A pop up or message is coming up 'you must be logged in to register.' but it registers anyway - we have open/guest registration.

you've probably seen this before - some parameter seems to need an adjustment. I bet you know which one!

j 3.3.6
eb 1.6.10

a 'spit' is a rod upon which savory food was roasted, turned in ancient times by a worker called a 'jack', a middle English word for an ordinary laborer (eg jack of all trades, steeplejack, lumberjack). Today, this is done by a 19th C machine.

Could you please let me know step by step how I can see the issue ? Seems I could not see it on my local development server. Maybe you can help by submitting a support ticket so that we can check and solve the issue?

The 'you must be logged in to register' issue is resulting because of the change to Offline Payment permissions in version 1.6.10. I was getting this when the permission was set to Public, but I was able to successfully process a test when I set the permissions to Guest.

I am going to mark this RESOLVED

I think mark access level to Guest could not be a properly solution. The reason is because if you set it to Guest, when users logged in and register for the event, they could not choose that payment method (Guest means only users who not logged in can see the method)

So there is still issue somewhere. But I can only look at it later, right now, I am on new year holiday as mentioned before :)

In my case, users are not logged in, and all seems to be working at the moment. Now stop reading this thread and enjoy your holiday!
