keeping home modules off event page

We have a calendar module on our homepage here - www.messerfinancial.com/ . When someone clicks a date, I keep homepage modules from displaying on event pages by creating a hidden menu item for that event and taking those modules off that item.

But when there are two events, like on Feb 18, the calendar link goes to www.messerfinancial.com/index.php/compon...015-02-18&Itemid=295 and shows all the homepage modules. I've tried creating an external url menu item but it doesn't work.

For some reasons, the Itemid is not properly used in this case. Could you please submit a support ticket:

1. Sending us super admin account of your site

2. Tell us the ID of the menu item which you created

I will check to see what's wrong and get it sorted for you
