Facebook share image

Hi, when we are sharing or liking an event so we can share it on facebook the image that is being used is not want we want is there any way of making it use the thumbnail or site logo??

Sorry. Right now, it is no possible. I think we will need to make some changes to the code to enable that. Will consider adding support for it in the future (next release).

I have same problem Tuan and a few of my clients really need this feature - eg they advertise events by sharing on Facebook - pretty pointless really if it doesn't pick up the event image

Any news on this all of my clients are requesting to advertise events on facebook and want to make the process easy? we also use AutotweetPRO softwrae so event is sent to facebook page when published

The problem, I guess , is the site of the thumbnail image. Facebook only accept images with certain site (greater than 300x300) if I remember correctly

So in this case, I think we will have to find a different solution, maybe use the large image to post on facebook instead of thumbnail image

What version of Events Booking you are using? I can try to send you the modified file so that you can check it?

Why not latest version 2.14.2? I modified code base on latest version 2.14.2. Please try to get this file, unzip it, upload to components/com_eventbooking/view/register/tmpl folder , then try again to see whether it works
