Where do users go to book Events? was created by michael salmons
Our organization has inherited a Joomla site from another group. It's my task to get the events calendar up and running.
I'm 99% sure Events Booking is installed (it appears as a component). I need to enter one event so I can test the system.
I do not have direct access to the files (yet- still working that out) and since we did not buy Events Booking ourselves, I do not have access to the codebase itself, which would answer many of my questions. Needless to say I don't have access to documentation except for the little bits I can find on the Joomdonation website.
I need to know what the URL is (probably) for users to book events. Not taking into account my site name and address, I mean would it be in /administrator or not? Is it called events.php? booking.php? I have no idea and can't stumble onto it. Seeing the files would of course give me multiple clues. But I don't have access.
I see a bunch of categories, but I can find no indication telling which is currently the default category. Whatever the category is, there are no matching events, as "There are no events in the selected category" is what is displayed on the calendar page (which I assume is tied into Events Booking). Is this indicated somewhere? I sure can't find it.
Any help would be appreciated.
EDIT: ok, I see on the event page on the back end you can create a new event. So that's one questioned answered.

Hi Michael
I am sorry. If you ask for these questions, I don't think you can config the extension for the site. Also, we can only provide support for our customers who purchase the product, so if you want to get support from us, you will need to ask the original group for Paypal Transaction ID of the purchase and send it to us so that we can verify your order.
The URL for booking events is not linked to a php file like events.php or bookings.php. This is a Joomla extension, so everything is handled via menu item. You create menu item to allow users to access to events (see documentation.joomdonation.com/2-events-...o-the-component.html for documentation), then from the event detail page, users can click on Register button to register for the event and make the registration process....
I guess you will need to find someone who familar with Joomla to help you to setup this. From your questions, seems you don't have much experience with Joomla and it will be difficult for you to setup it
