How to add a simple description text?

Hi!
I would like to add a simple description text in the custom fileds.
For example, if with with a radio box the bank tasfert payment method is selected, a text showing the bank information should be showed.
How to add a simple text in the custom field setting?

I am not sure I understand your requirement correctly. I think you can edit the custom field and enter the description for the custom field and it will be showed ?

I would like to add an informative text in the registration form that is independent from any other custom field.
Actually there is the possibility to add just custom fields where the user has to interact with (by inserting a text, by ticking a button, and so on).
But I think that could be really useful to have the possibility to include in the registration form to add also textual description, maybe using the default Joomla editor. In this manner, would be possibile to design registration form in a more flexible manner.

Also if this is not exactly what I would like to have, I tried the solution you proposed (i.e. to include a description in the cutom field), but the desciption is not shown. I don't know if there is some specific settings to enable this. (I use Jommla 3.3.6 with Event Booking version 1.6.10).

=> You can try to use Message custom field type. You can enter the text you want to display in the description of the field and it will be showed. Please give it a try
