Individual Registration - Billing Information

Using Events Booking v1.6.10.
Perhaps I am missing something. Some of our individuals have their registration paid by someone else, so billing info is different from the person who is being registered. I do not get the option to enter separate billing information with an individual registration. How do I enable that?

Unfortunately, we don't have that option in the extension. Maybe you can create extra custom fields to allow users to enter information of the actual registrant. That's the only option I can see

Wow, that is unusual. Most payment forms have a check box to indicate if billing info is the same. If not, a separate section just for billing info would appear . I will look into adding extra fields to get that effect but it seems like this should be added as a standard. Just a suggestion.

Maybe you are correct. But the fact is that among all of Events Booking customers, you are the only one asked for this feature. So maybe you have a different requirement with other customers

To be honest, I don't think I will add it as a standard feature of Events Booking as I can see that the current behavior works well for all other customers. I don't want to make the form more complicated for now

not to make the form more complicated, But can it work for Individuals the same as it works for groups - where billing information is separate?

Sorry Amjin. As I mentioned before, all customers are OK with the way Individual Registration works at the moment, so I am not going to change it

Maybe one solution for you is that:

1. Disable Individual Registration for the event (edit registration type of the event and set it to Only Group Registration)

2. Change the code of the group registration abit so that you can enter 1 into Number Registrants field? (By default. group registration requires atleast two registrants)

You can get this file, unzip, upload to components/com_eventbooking/views/register/tmpl folder. After that, it should work as expected
