No user confirmation email for free events

I have a problem with confirmation emails: they are regularly delivered to admin but not to users. I have free events, so the "payment method" field does not appear in the registration form. I set "offline payment" in the advanced settings tab of the event page.
I also put something in the "User email body (offline payment)" field.

Can you please help me?

Hi Giulia

I guess there is something with the email you are using for testing. Could you please try to use a different email for testing? If it still doesn't work, please submit a support ticket sending me super admin account of your site so that I can check the settings for you
