Minimum Guests for Event

Hello Tuan.

Please i need your help.

Now we have a maximum number of guests to participate on one event and when this occurs the event is full. Right?

But how difficult could be if we want and minimum number of guests to participate on one event before this event goes from pending to active.

If the participation is small in this event, then the event stay pending and the registrants got an email notification automaticaly, that the event will not take place.

What we want to achive with this?

If we have minimum 10 guests and maximum 25 guests, if the event have only 8 guests then after the email notification before (x) days they can ask for a full deposit refund or they can invite their friends to join through Invite Friend button. When the event have minimum 10 guests it will show in frond-end as "Active", otherwise "Pending".

Does the extension, as is, has this capability already?

Unfortunately, this feature is not available in the extension yet. Will consider adding support for it in the future (but when an event cancelled, how we deal with the money registrants paid for the registration).

Hello Tuan.

The registrants gets their money back (deposit payments only) manualy to their banking accounts. There is no other "automatic" way.
We want that feature end in the event details page (before someone press the book button) the event marked as Pending if the number of partcipants is less than (x) members and the event became active when the number of participants is more than (x) members.
If the event finally canceled automatically because the participation is less than (x), registrants receive email to send us their bank account to get their money back.
If the event finally conducted because the participation is more than (x), registrants receive only the current reminder email.

If it is the way to go, why we can't simple provide in the description of the extension to say that the event only organized if there is X members register .

Then at the day, you can check and if the number registrants doesn't reach the number you want, then use mass mail feature to inform registrants about it ? At least it is a workaround for it for now

You are right. This is the way currently do, but we want a liitle more automatic way and not a pair of eyes looking all the time the events. We have 2 or more events per day all the year...

Please consider adding it into the next version of the program.

If you can do it just for us (a custom version of the program) we can pay for it if you want, but if this goes public, i think it will add another + to your awesome program already...

Just dropping in to say that I would find this really useful too.

We have after-school classes that teachers lead. If it's not economically viable to hold the class, it gets cancelled.

I'm using offline payment for these, so refunding money is not an issue.

Hello to all,
I join previous requests because It would be useful for manage wine bar events. If subscribers are few people, we can't confirm event with a sommelier.

I hope it will be available in the future.
