Hello
I have purchased Events booking for an upcoming event. Everything works as it should we only have one problem which is of great importance to us.
Even though I have set an email address for the NOTIFICATION EMAIL, this email does not receive any notifications for new registrations. I have tested a few times but we never received a notification. I even changed the notification email address with a new one but I still got no notifications.
Does anyone knows how to fix that? I will be waiting for your reply before I make the training public so please take care of this issue as soon as possible.

What payment method you are using on your site? What's the status of the registration record after registrants complete the registration ?

Thanks for your quick response.
I use PayPal and offline payment (bank transfer). The registration status after registrants complete the registration is "pendind" / "unpublished". Am I clear enough?

Problem solved! I had to fill the Emails & Messages>Admin email body text, which I hadn't.

All PayPal purchases are shown as UNPUBLISHED. Any reason for this?

There are several reasons can cause this issue:
1. The site is on local computer
2. The site is on offline mode
3. Paypal IPN is disabled in the Paypal account
4. Paypal IPN messages is blocked (by firewall software of the server or a security plugin of the site...)
5. I also seen that in some countries, Paypal requires special rule where we will have to edit the Paypal payment plugin to pass user-agent string to the code which verify the payment....
So the first think is that please send me the site URL so that I can try to check IPN logs to see the content of IPN message before working on it further

Hello IPN,
Please check that the order total which PayPal displays and the order total which your shop displays are the same. If they are different (even by 1 cent) then your PayPal payment will be put on "pending" rather than "complete". You will not receive an email confirmation and neither will your client (even though client has successfully paid). I had this problem and the only fix for me was a hack for the os_paypay file which Giang kindly helped me with. It told the system to still pass order as "complete" even if the totals between PayPal and the shop were very slightly different.
The problem (if this relates to eshop) is I believe down to the "taxes" system and that users cannot enter a "price with tax", so if your prices include VAT, you may well have a problem with PayPal orders. This is a problem we are looking at with Giang and hopefully Giang finds a solution. But in the mean time, you can ask Giang for the hack for the os_paypal file.
