See attached. This keeps happening on paypal registrations....we are getting double.

a 'spit' is a rod upon which savory food was roasted, turned in ancient times by a worker called a 'jack', a middle English word for an ordinary laborer (eg jack of all trades, steeplejack, lumberjack). Today, this is done by a 19th C machine.

This look strange. It happens with every registration ? Are there any code customization made to Events Booking on your site? From programming point of view, I could not see any reasons why it happens

I removed the only customization I had made (to show organization name in the 'view list' feature on the front end); I reinstalled the EB component so have running stock EB. There were a few paypal transactions on this event, and even with stock EB, they still created a duplicate record. I created a fake event and manually moved duplicate entries there, to keep the account accurate.

EDIT: someone just registered with paypal, and the result was normal -- a duplicate record was not created. This morning (GMT -5), before anyone else had signed up, I opened the associated paypal plugin, then did save-and-close. Perhaps this reset something? I notice the plugin is v 1.0.

Hi

Nothing will be reset. The issue you explained is really strange and I cannot see it from programming point of view. So please continue to monitor it. If you see this happens again. please submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site.

I will try to check it to see whether there are any plugins can cause this issue

Regards,

Tuan

It happened again today, and the common element is that the PayPal transaction didn't complete.

The client did not receive a paypal confirmation.... and the problem may be that there are a lot of users who can't handle a paypal transaction (though these are all engineers with PhD's  ). Notice the bottom item - that was a successful completion and it self-published, as expected.

That mean doesn't complete payment when they are redirected to Paypal. To make it less confusing for your client, I think you should go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set "Show Pending Registration Records" config option to No

By doing that, the records which users are redirected to Paypal but doesn't make payment won't be showed
