Donation on events

my mate ( Client ) travels to northern thailand sometimes he gets involved in helping others. So what he wants to do is have a section in his web site to make donations to local community's.

This is how I see it working. If possible in the bookings page like the bookings conditions box that the client ticks we have a donations box. We have a $12.50 donation added to each trip from the client when they book. We have the box to tick at the bottom of the page if they DONT want to donate.

Invoice and booking would read something like

Tour $2400
Donation $12.50
Total $2412.50

any other way of doing this, idea's ?

I don't see a way to make it works like that. However, Maybe you can create a checkbox custom fee field to allow users to choose whether they want to make a donation or not. If they check on the checkbox, they will be charged extra fee 12.50$ in this case.
