Hi Philippe
I must say that Joomla 1.5.15 is a very old version of Joomla (even Joomla 1.5 series). So before installing the extension, I think you should first upgrade your site to latest version of Joomla 1.5
After that, please don't follow the instructions on the documentation to install the extension. The reason is because that instruction was written mostly for Joomla 2.5_3.x.
To install the extension, please unzip the package, you should see a folder for Joomla 1.5. Install the component, modules, plugins inside that folder and It will work well
Please try that and let me know the result.
Regards,
Tuan

Thank you for your quick reaction.
I have upgraded from Joomla 1.5.15 to 1.5.26 successfully.
Unfortunately, I get the same errors on installing the component.
I have checked the Joomla folders permissions and they are OK (writeable).
Any other idea ?

OK. It works
I have had to unzip the com file and install from the server itself (option "Install from Directory").
All the other packages have been install from my machine (Joomla option "Upload package file").
Thank you !
Philippe
