Please note that in the latest version, the extension use state full name. So in the default value, instead of writing IL (the state code), you need to write Illinois (the state name)

Hi,

Her's what I tried :

With Membership Pro version 1.6.8
1) By Joomla! back end go to : Components / Membership Pro / and find the full name of your "state" (ex : Quebec )
2) By Joomla! back end go to : Components / Membership Pro / Custom Field
3) Select "State" and write in the "default values" field the full name of your state that you found in step 1 (ex : Quebec) and save
4) Go to front-end, clear cache of your browser and refresh your page... and that it's!

Still doesn't work, also I verified that no extra space was left... did I missed something?

Thanks for your help!
