Events that last more than one day was created by gabba
Hi
Great component. I'm having trouble with a couple of things and I can't find clear answers on how to fix these on the forum, so thought I'd post before I reluctantly gave up, and tried something else
I run a website for an organisation that runs postal swim meets. These meets run over a month to two months. It creates two problems:
(a) When the event is loaded in as a standard event, it only shows for the time up to the beginning of the event, and then drops off the upcoming events lists. We'd still want the event to show until at least the event finish date.
(b) I've seen some suggestions to raise individual events for each day so that the event appears on each day in the upcoming events list. However, raising 30 odd events seems alot of work, and when I create these as repeating events it pushes the start and finish dates our as if these were new events (which they would be under a repeating events scenario)
Anyone have any ideas or tips on how to fix the above so I can get the single event to remain in the upcoming events list and module until the event finishes?
Thanks

Replied by gabba on topic Events that last more than one day
Found my own answer on this in case anyone is interested just raise the event repeating for a set number of days. Repeating events get set up as child events. Pretty simple really!
